Well I'm hesitant to discuss matters online like this but I was slightly disappointed with my visit just now to the Tybee Island Branch Library. After a long ordeal in my ketch vessel on some rough waters on the Bull River I landed safely ashore near the sands of the beach. This of course after my solar browser broke apart in orbit and crash landed. It was tough getting ashore to the beach but I feel I had a spirit guide in the form of a frog named Kermit who liked to feed. I think he or she was polish liked lobster with Hamm's Beer. Well never mind that I digress. The point I wish to make is that when I got to the library's Dewey Kard cataloge to see if they had any cartoons of Popeye all I got was this book by Anne E. Hill about the "Defender of Mankind." Well needless to say the shopping card was preloaded with stalking cookies of movies such as Speed, Heat, and Gravity and that perfectly described by trip down the Z axis to Tybee Island. If their ever was lighthouse cursed by practical magic I bet you a fresh pair of Betty Whites undies that this is the place.

It's a very intimate environment. It's perfect for the Island. The kids were assigned their own Library Card and to them, it's a big deal. They have story time on Tuesday Mornings, perfect for the little one. The Librarians are sweet and know everyone by their name. They make the kids feel special and hang their pictures on the windows. I love this place. I think it's wonderful. They even have a bin that you can borrow books from if you don't have a library card and are just visiting. It's a wonderful place.

We love this special Island library. Wonderful selection of books, comfortable and terrific librarians!!

A year ago I visited Tybee Island and made several trips to your wonderful Library. I was looking for a copy of Ann Morrow Lindberg's' 'Gifts from the Sea', and received help from a charmingly engaging very curly headed attractive librarian, who instantly became my secret sweety. Thanks and it is a year later and back in Indiana please know you are still my secret sweety
