Whole 30 Friendly! Anyone trying to be gluten, dairy, sugar free can enjoy eating out here. They also offer vegetarian options. That being said if you want to kick back and listen to music with fun friendly people (staff included) then this is a great place to go when chilling h having a cocktail on Tybee! Cheers to the great people working there!!
The lack of service is the reasoning behind the low rating. We came around lunch time and it was “self-seating”. It wasn’t too busy so we sat down and looked over the menu. About 10 minutes passes by and our waiter comes to take our drinks, after she brings them to us, we asked for straws. She said she would bring them, we asked four other times before she finally brought them to the table. Strike one!!
I liked the food here. I am vegetarian and they served it. Waiter was patient enough to know our preferences and suggested the food. We had hummus and veg grill sandwich. Both were good. One of the best places in Tybee I would say. Would like to recommend this place.
Next, the food finally comes, the food runner asks if we need anything. We said we were fine, then she runs back before we had a chance to look at our table of food and realize that we didn’t have silverware. And because our original waitress was so good at disappearing, we had to get up and go get our silverware from the bar! STRIKE THREE!!
Ate lunch here today with my family of 6. Service was excellent! Great atmosphere! Food was good! Recommend the fish bites, grilled fish sandwich, hummus, sweet potato fries and the burger. The kind of place you want to eat at when at the beach.
But wait, it gets WORSE!! Then, our waitress comes back and we ask her for some “honey mustard sauce”. She says she will bring it out for me. About 30 seconds later I see her bringing sauce to another table...AND she still didn’t come by and bring me anything! But later when we got our checks, she charged me 0.50 for the sauce I never received. That was the very last straw!!
Then, when we were ready to order we watched our waitress By-pass our table and go to another table next to us, which had come after us and took their order ahead of us. STRIKE TWO!
Great little bar and grill. Fun island atmosphere with island music. Great food. Reasonably priced and right by the beach as well as the lighthouse and museums. Love that they are environmental friendly from suggestions of how to be eco-friendly to their use of solar energy. Stop in for a beer and appetizers or have a nice lunch/dinner and dessert.
The only reason I am giving one star, is because of the food. It was actually really good for the price.
Like I said, the food was good, prices are good, but the service was the absolute worst I have ever experienced! I don’t normally write reviews but this was ridiculous.
