Very nice meal. Amazing view of the beach and sunset. The menu is limited, but the food was good. Bartender needs a little help... we had to send 2 drinks back and they don't have a full bar. Other then that, highly recommend.
We chose this place to eat for lunch because you could see the beach. Well my husband ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and after eating quit a few fries and not touching the sandwich yet, he found a hair underneath the fries. That made us lose our appetite real fast. However, the waiter was nice and took it back. The manager brought my husband a new plate, but it didn't look new or fresh, plus it was way to fast. The top bun of the sandwich looked the same as the last with pieces of the bun missing. We were very hesitant about eating our food after that. However, the view was beautiful and we enjoyed the friendly cat that hung around the outdoor eating area with us. I also liked that when we were seated we were given water right away, seeing as we were coming straight from the beach.
Well worth the drive from Savannah. Parking is very limited and you may need to walk a little ways but it is well worth it. We arrived right when the place opened for the day so there was no crowd. The service was excellent and the food was hot and delicious. My daughter and I took a dip in the ocean while my wife had a drink at the bar. Remember even though it is a beech side restaurant/ bar you need to wear a shirt and shoes inside. Highly recommended!
We were fast seated and the food came out really fast. Everything was good, on the pictures you can see the bacon burger, fried calamari (really great) and fish and chips. Very nice and helpful waitresses, they refilled our glasses of water before we had to even ask for it. This restaurant is right by the beach (you go outside the place and you are on the beach).
Awesome view with awesome food! Recently when I visited I had the fish n' chips & it was the best I've ever had. The malted vinegar fries were so yummy! I am returning today for lunch with a friend & I can't wait to try the pineapple chicken breast sandwich & take in the amazing relaxing view once again! Love The Deck!
